Apologies to my bank balance - yet another makeup order has been placed...

I've been lusting after both Morphe palettes and Morphe brushes for the past couple of month after seeing every Youtuber and their dog owning them, & after waiting and waiting for the 35O palette to come back in stock (who's with me?!) I gave up and looked for a new fave on the Beauty Bay website.
When I was searching for said makeup palette, I came across Make-up Geek. I've only ever heard good things about their eyeshadows, and I couldn't believe the variety of colours they had! After browsing for a good 15 minutes, I decided it would have been rude to then leave empty handed basket-ed!?

Admittedly, I got wrong off my mam for buying MORE eyeshadows - (I'm not joking when I say half of my makeup drawer is full of eyeshadow palettes) but how could I resist?

I've tried a couple of the colours above and, whoa; people certainly weren't exaggerating about the pigment with these! They have quickly become my new go-to eyeshadows and I can't believe how I've coped for so long without these (and a Z palette!) in my life. I have minimal, if any, fall out and the range of colours Makeup Geek have is like no other.

How beaut!!??? As I mentioned earlier, I got tired of waiting for the Morphe 35O palette to come back in stock, so started to look at the other palettes Morphe have... enter this beauty, the 35K.
Of all the Morphe palettes that are floating around the internet, I hadn't seen as much of this one and wanted to change that!
The pigment of these eyshadows are really good, admittedly - I don't believe they're as good as Makeup Geek, but still, very pigmented. I have a small amount of fall out with this palette and for some of the shimmers, I do need to wet my brush to get the most out of them, but each and every colour in this palette is amazing (my personal fave being the very end one on the top row.)
I still find myself reaching for this palette as the colours are amazing, and the looks you can create are endless. For the price, I'd say it's definitely worth the money and I can't wait to purchase another!

Have you tried either Makeup Geek or Morphe? Let me know in the comments!

  1. The Makeup Geek Foiled Shadows are everything! I agree the Morphe palettes aren't as good in terms of quality as MUG but not bad for the price - the 35K shades are really nice :)
